Caribbean Festival in Santiago de Cuba |

Havana.- The 33rd Caribbean Festival, hosted by the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, will be held this year in the first fortnight of July.
The festival, also called “Fiesta del Fuego” (Fire Festival), will be dedicated to the Caribbean Colombian area, taking into account the cultural diversity of the region.
According to the organizers, 150 personalities and about two dozen researchers from the guest region are expected to participate in the event.
To this date, 1,189 artists and intellectuals from 20 nations have confirmed their participation, including, among others, Venezuela, Curacao, United States, Mexico, Argentina and Suriname.
The activities of the festival will be carried out in about 50 areas in the territory, while the Heredia cultural center will host 29 cultural galas and 30 shows.
