World Demand for Aviation Experts to Increase

Geneva.- Qualified personnel to work in civil aeronautics in a long term will be needed due to the steady increase in demand.

According to the U.S. plane maker Boeing, commercial airlines from the Asia-Pacific region will need some 400,000 pilots and technicians over the next 20 years.

China will report the largest demand with 72,700 pilots and 105,300 technicians during the said period.

Northeastern Asia will demand 50,000 aviation professionals, while Southeast Asia will create up to 100,000 jobs in the sector.

Oceania will need 13,600 pilots and 15,600 technicians, and Southwestern Asia will demand 50,000 professionals.
