Cuba to Export More Rum |

Havana.- Cuba will increase rum exports this year, taking advantage of the increase in demand and the excellent quality of the product.
Executives from the corporation Cuba-Ron pointed out that this year's plan is to export four million boxes of rum to the company's major clients.
They expect revenues by concept of exports to increase to 100 million dollars, considering the high demand for Havana Club on the world market.
Havana Club ranks fourth in the world among the brands that have reported an increase of more than 14.9 percent in sales, only preceded by Absolut (vodka), Johnny Walker and Jameson.
In 2010, Cuba-Ron sold 3.8 million boxes, mainly in Europe (57 percent) and Cuba (31 percent).
