Havana.- The cultural institution Casa de la Trova, in eastern Santiago de Cuba province, benefited from remodeling and restoration works.
According to experts, the building recovered its original decoration, including portraits – original photos and paintings that were restored – of prominent Cuban musician, antique lamps, carpentry works and floors.
After the restoration works were completed, Casa de la Trova hosted a meeting of several generations of singer songwriters.
Artists from the Caguayo Foundation, cultural institutions that donated works rescued from oblivion and construction workers contributed to restoring Casa de la Trova.
