Cutting-edge Technology at CIEGOPLAST
Monday, July 26, 2010

Havana.- The company CIEGOPLAST used for the first time the technique known as extrusion in molds to make parts for High-Density Polyethylene Pipes (HDPP).

The technique is part of a new line of production, the only one of its kind in the country, installed in the factory.

The method consists of making the parts using high pressure to conform them.

CIEGOPLAST also made the structure for a floating restaurant that can support more than 50 tons, as well as 21 cages to raise fish.

The company has produced some 3,000 kilometers of water pipes, which have been installed all over the country.
