Havana.- Several cultural and recreational options will be available to Cuban and foreign tourists during the summer season.
Professional and amateur artists will perform in communities and faraway mountainous areas in July and August.
Other activities include about 40 carnivals and popular parties throughout the Caribbean island.
In addition, those interested in nature tourism can spend their vacations at camping sites.
Sports enthusiasts will have access to some 6,000 sports facilities where baseball, volleyball and soccer tournaments will be held.
Cuban television will broadcast programs for children, youths and adults, including soap operas, concerts and comedies.
