Cuban Baseball Team Ready for World Classic |

Havana.- Cuban sports authorities presented the 43-strong shortlisted team that is training for the 2nd World Classic, scheduled for March.
The team includes catchers Ariel Pestano, Rolando Meriño, Yosvany Peraza and Yenier Bello, and infielders Yulieski Gourriel, Michel Enríquez, Héctor Olivera, Yorelvis Charles, Eduardo Paret and Joan Carlos Pedroso.
The other infielders are Alexander Mayeta, Yoandry Garlobo, Ariel Borrero, Rudy Reyes, Yadil Mujica and Luis Miguel Navas.
The outfielders are Frederich Cepeda, Alfredo Despaigne, Leslie Anderson, Giorvis Duvergel, Yoennis Céspedes, Leonys Martín, Yoelvis Fiss, José Dariel Abreu and Alexei Bell.
The shortlisted team also includes 18 pitchers and will be coached by Higinio Vélez.
Twenty-eight players will make the Cuban team to the World Classic, at which the island nation will play in Group B, along with South Africa, Australia and Mexico.
