Cuban Judokas Excel at Jigoro Kano Cup |

Havana.- Cuban Judokas won three bronze medals at the Jigoro Kano Cup, which was dominated by Japan.
Among women, Yanet Bermoy (52 kg) lost to Japanese judoka Chiho Kagaya, and later defeated Delphine Delsalle (France) and Petra Nareks (Slovenia).
In the men's contest, Oreidis Despaigne (100 kg) and Oscar Braison (+100 kg) won one bronze medal each in their respective divisions.
Onix Cortés (70 kg), Idalis Ortiz (+78 kg) and Yordanis Arencibia (73 kg) failed to win medals at the event, in which Japan finished first (9-11-15), followed by South Korea (1-3-1), China (1-0-2) and France (1-0-1).
The Cuban judokas are training to compete in the national championship and their traditional training tour of Europe.
