Havana.- The exhibition "Bien Plantadas", consisting of artworks by five prominent Cuban sculptors is being held at the Villa Manuela Gallery of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC).
The initiative is part of UNEAC's efforts to show the latest works by Cuban artists, so artworks by Tomás Lara, Rafael Consuegra, José Villa, Eliseo Valdés and Juan Quintanilla were chosen for the exhibition.
According to experts, the most significant element in the exhibition is the distribution achieved by the sculptors.
Respecting the artists' techniques and materials, Villa Manuela proposes a small-format adventure that allows visitors to become involved in the poetry of each artist.
Such exhibitions contribute to promoting cultural creation and spreading art throughout the country.
