Cuban Music at Popkomm Fair |

Havana.- Cuban music will be present at the 2005 Popkomm record fair, to be held in the German city of Berlin.
The Caribbean Island will be represented by X Alfonso, who will participate as a special guest at the Spanish Night Gala.
The Cuban musician will play several tracks from his latest and fourth record, entitled "Civilización" (Civilization).
X Alfonso had three nominations for the 2002 Latin Grammy Awards for his rap record "X Moré", a tribute to the Cuban singer and composer Benny Moré (1919-1963).
He has also played with world-renowned musicians, including Rick Wakeman, former keyboardist of the British group Yes, and with the US rock band Audioslave.
On this occasion, Popkomm, which is considered the world's second major record fair after MIDEN, held in Cannes, France, has invited Spain, which will be represented by 26 musical groups, as a special guest.
