"Andariegos" Favors Tourism in Camagüey |

Havana.- The Bicitaxi Service in the city of Camagüey, known as "Andariegos" (fond of walking), has become an excellent option to boost tourism in one of the most attractive cities in the province.
Run by the company Santa María, attached to the Office of the City Historian, the offer consists of the free call modality, which includes tours of interesting sites in the city, as well as services for weddings and birthdays.
"Andariegos" also picks up tourists at hotels and offers tourists rides under the guidance of a driver who guides them throughout the tour and answers all the questions posed by travelers.
The vehicles are decorated by renowned local artists, so they are rolling art galleries on which both Cubans and foreigners can enjoy the artworks.
The list of artists who have decorated the vehicles includes Oscar Rodríguez Lasseria, Martha Jiménez, Joel Jover, Orestes Larios and Nazario Salazar.
Camagüey is Cuba's third most populated city and stands out for the five-century-old architectural and cultural wealth of its historic heart, which was declared a National Monument.
